Within the program Art in Context Now parallel to the exhibition 40 Jahre Kunst im Kontext , artists were invited to the UdK to meet artists from the Thikwa Werkstatt für Theater und Kunst , and to share common themes of artistic creation.
The meetings took place on December 10 and 11, 2018. Four pairs of artists participated in these meetings. They were designed by and for participating artists without an audience.
"It is inspiring that Peter talks about artistic work as a travel route to see the world and be interested in life. Art is a tool for activities that are outside the daily monotony. Art takes him to places where, if he had not committed himself to art, he would not go and he behaves as he never would without artistic activities such as performance. He says that in his case, without his artistic profession, he would be ''just'' a disabled person, but with art he is an artist.''
