Linda Weissig
Born in Berlin, studied dance at the ETAGE - School
for the Performing and Fine Arts, choreography at the Ernst Busch Academy of
Dramatic Arts in Berlin and Philosophy and German studies at the Freie
Universität, Berlin.
She has danced and choreographed in Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, Zurich, London, Rome, Jerusalem, Poznan and Skopje; at the Komischen Oper, Berliner Ensemble, HAU, Dock 11, Schaubühne, Stadttheater Hildesheim, Festspielhaus Hellerau, Gessnerallee Zurich, Macedonia Opera, Teatro Dei Rinnovati Siena, and many others.
Since 2007 she has also worked regularly as a dance trainer and choreographer for the Thikwa Ensemble Berlin. In 2013 she worked as a choreographer and dancer in the art project “feeling good” (at the cultural festival "Nacht und Nebel") for the Unionhilfswerk social services. The project received the “Inklusionspreis“ – (inclusion prize).
