Mit der Mütze auf is an audiovisual creation that shows different aspects of the lives of people with cognitive functional diversity. The video addresses topics such as identity, desires, memories, childhood, education, fears, affections and creativity.
Tim Petersen and Marieta Campos Gisbert developed the script based on research focused on the Thikwa group of artists. As a team and with the participation of other artists from the Thikwa Werkstatt, they also made the photos, videos and audio recordings for the soundtrack. The soundtrack, produced by musician Nikolas Lefort, is made up of improvised pieces by the artists, recorded during 2010, and mixed with Lefort's guitar.
